ALL prepaid appointments and subscriptions will be honored at the original purchase price until expired. We will do our best to update patients of changes as they happen - Patient who do NOT opt into clinic emails may not receive these notifications.
Insurance and Billing
OMA does not directly submit claims on behalf of our patients. Because we do not bill your insurance company directly OMA is open to patients with all types of plan that allow choice of provider.
Instead - OMA will produce for you the appropriate receipts called “Super Bills” which can then be submitted by you to your insurance company for a reimbursement* on treatments covered by their plans. Services are to be paid in full at the time they are received - reimbursements will then be made by your insurance company to you at their agreed upon fee-schedule*. You will NOT be required to pay a copay, co-insurance and/or a claims submission service fee to our office (you’ve already paid for your insurance plan, why pay us as well?) This procedure is intended to save you money in the long run. Many insurance policies do cover acupuncture care, but this office makes no representation that yours does. Insurance policies may vary greatly in percentage of coverage. Because of the variance from one insurance policy to another, we require that you, the patient, be personally responsible for any unpaid balances in this office.
